Trust me…this one’s a scam. I signed up for the “free trial”. Yes, I looked at the terms and conditions (which require you to cancel within ten days of ordering or they’ll charge you $90 for a month’s supply). I decided to get the free trial, try it, and cancel if I didn’t like it. Not only did it not come in the ten days since I ordered it, the website’s contact information is bogus. Try using their livechat, and 1) they tell you you’re customer 2 in the queue and have approximately 6 minutes and 29 seconds to wait before a representative is available (it said the same thing every time I opened it), and 2) none of the text you enter even transmits into the chat box. It’s totally fake. This freaked me out, so I looked again at the website. The testimonials they included were the most ridiculously plagiarized things I’d ever seen. They took testimonials for acai berry and merely replaced the word “acai” with “colon xR”…which was obvious when you read “The Colon xR fruit has been featured on Oprah” and “Colon xR (ah-sigh-ee) is the high-energy berry of a special Amazon palm tree”. This is how I knew it was a scam. I looked at the return address in the Terms and Conditions…it’s the same return address for the Acai Berry Supreme scam pages and the Total Cleanse scam page, so obviously these people are all working out of the same company. So then I tried calling the number. Not only did it disconnect me several times upon calling, when I finally did get a ring, an automated message told me that the information had been changed and to press a button to receive a text message with the new info. I didn’t dare. And so, the moral of the story–before they could scam me completely and charge me almost a hundred bucks for a product I don’t even dare use (if it ever ends up arriving), I canceled my debit card so these evil people can’t get to my funds. NOBODY fall for this. It’s a good lesson to learn, but you can learn it from me instead of losing money over it. If you’re looking for a colon or acai berry product, go to eBay for it (it’s much safer, no legally binding conditions). And be sure you’re bidding on the actual product and not information, because sellers like to put that in fine print…and the information you get leads you right to one of these scam pages. I hope I’ve saved at least a couple people a lot of trouble.
